Who we are

This website is run by RED EAGLE LOGISTIC LTD ("Red Eagle Logistics", "we", "us"), company number 15023946, registered office Flat 18 Herald Court, 130 Colindale Avenue, London NW9 4AX. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quote

Our quote form asks for collection and delivery postcodes, what you're sending, the vehicle, timing, your name, phone number and email, plus any notes or photos you choose to add. We use these to price your job, contact you about it and carry it out. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract if you book.

When you send the form, it is emailed to our business mailbox through our email delivery provider. While you fill it in, the postcodes you type are sent to postcodes.io (a free UK postcode lookup) so the form can show an approximate distance; no other details are sent there.

When you call, email or message us

We use the details you give us to answer you and to arrange any job. If you tap our WhatsApp button, your conversation takes place on WhatsApp (Meta) under WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

Anonymous usage counts

To understand which pages are useful, the site counts when a phone, email or WhatsApp link is tapped and when a quote is sent. Each count records only the page, the type of tap, whether you arrived from another website (its name only, or "direct"), phone or computer, and for quotes the first part of each postcode (for example "NW9"). It does not record your name, contact details, full postcode or IP address, and stores nothing on your device. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the website.

Google Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site, such as pages viewed and where visits come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your device, browser and approximate location. We do not load Google Analytics at all unless you accept. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Cookies and similar storage

  • Google Analytics cookies (names beginning _ga): set only if you accept; used to count and understand visits; kept for up to 2 years unless you withdraw consent or clear them.
  • Your cookie choice: we remember whether you accepted or rejected so we don't ask on every page. This is stored in your browser's local storage and is strictly necessary to respect your choice.

The site's fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page doesn't contact Google unless you accept analytics cookies.

Who we share data with

We don't sell your data. We use trusted providers to run the website and our business: our website hosting and anonymous usage counts (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider for quote forms (Resend), our business email (Zoho), Google Analytics (only with your consent) and postcodes.io for postcode lookups. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations. We may also share details with a driver or subcontractor who carries out your job, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any job that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Anonymous usage counts contain no personal details. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Analytics account (no longer than 14 months).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We'll update this page if the way we use data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
