"24 hour courier" means two different things in this industry: delivered within 24 hours, or open and collecting at every hour of the 24. Plenty of firms mean the first. We mean the second, and here is what that looks like in practice.
- Open to book, not just open to call: ring at 3am and a person answers, prices the job and dispatches a driver. There is no out-of-hours voicemail.
- Collected at night, not held until morning: the driver comes to you when you book, whether that is 9pm or 4am, and drives direct.
- Delivered at night too, if the far end is open: hospitals, airports, 24-hour sites, print rooms and data centres take deliveries at any hour, so we make them.

What Happens When You Call at 2am
People searching for a 24 7 courier usually want to know one thing: is anyone actually there? Here is the sequence. The call is answered by our operator, not a message. You give the collection postcode, the delivery postcode and what is being carried; the price is read back to you from the mileage before anything is booked. The nearest driver on the rota is dispatched while you are still on the phone, and you get the collection time with the booking confirmation. From there the job runs exactly as a daytime one: tracked throughout, one vehicle door to door, and a name and a time sent to you when it is signed for. The only difference at 2am is that the roads are empty, so it usually arrives sooner.
Two things help us keep that promise. Tell us if the delivery address has a night entrance, a security desk or a gate code, so the driver is not standing outside a locked building at 4am. The parcel networks mostly stop on Friday evening. A weekend courier from us is the weekday service on a different date: same day collection and delivery on Saturday and Sunday, the same drivers, the same insurance and the same price.

Every bank holiday, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day, is a working day for us. A bank holiday courier job is booked, priced and dispatched exactly like any other, with nothing added for the date.

24 Hour Courier Prices: Nights and Weekends at the Published Rate
There is no out-of-hours tariff. A job booked at midnight on a bank holiday is priced on the same mileage as one booked on a Tuesday morning: £35 including VAT for the first 10 miles, then £1.30 a mile, for a car or small van. Larger vans are quoted on the same basis.
